Radiotelescopes

Astronomy vs Astrology

Astrology is the study of the position of the starts that tell us our future. Everyone depends of a constellation depending on their birthday. Astrology studies the position of the starts of your constellation and depending on it, it tells you your future. Astrology is a pseudoscience, they consider themselves a science, but there's isn't any experiment or data that check this.

Astronomy is a science that study the evolution of the celestial objects originated outside the atmosphere of the Earth. This is considered as a science because it always tries to tell us why does it happens throught experiments or proofs that verify it.

How is Universe organized

Thanks to the discoveries that Cosmology has provided we can say that:
The Universe is composed by three elements:
-(70%) Dark energy:it's a kind of energy that is responsible of the quick expansion of Universe.
-(25%) Dark matter: it's the matter that exist but we can't see.
-(5%) Visible matter (galaxies, systems, planets, stars, satellites...). They are organized in levels, in which everyone is inside another.

All of them are related due to three main forces:
-Gravitational law.
-Electromagnetism.
-Nuclear interactions (that can be weak or strong)

These elements are still separating because of the constant expansion of Universe and they are organized in orbits (the path of an element which turns around another element). The actual theory about how is the Universe organized is composed by other three theories:

-Hierarchal theory: In this model, the universe is composed of groups of galaxies, which are composed of groups of solar systems, which are composed of stars and planets.
-Nebular theory: explains how the different structures in the galaxy are formed.
-Newton’s theory: the universe’s mass is generally evenly distributed.

Felix Baumgartner

Felix Baumgartner was born on April 20, 1969 in Salzburg. It is a skydiver and a BASE jumper. He is known for the particular danger of maneuvers that performed during his career. Baumgartner spent some time in the Austrian military, where he practiced parachuting, including training for landing on small areas. On October 14, 2012, Baumgartner took off from Roswell (New Mexico), to rise to 39 068 m, height from which was made a free fall. This fact attributed three historical records: 1 2 first man to break the barrier of sound, without mechanical support and in free fall. Calculations concluded that the Austrian parachutist broke the sound barrier for the first 40 seconds of fall, arriving at 1173 km/h. Free fall from the highest point, 39.068 meters, when the previous record, established 52 years ago, was 31 333 metres. The manned flight in a balloon to the point farthest from the Earth, surpassing the 40,000 meters of height - being the previous record of 34 668 meters-. The globe, powered by helium, was just 0.02 mm thick walls.

Pseudoscience

Comparing horoscopes from two different websites:

-Web 1:
Your mood should be quite good for the most part, Gemini, but there's apt to be some tension in your relationships. Romantic endeavors aren't exactly in your favor now, so don't force an issue that seems too difficult to resolve. Find comfort in your internal warmth. By taking the time to nurture yourself, you will inevitably have more love to give to the people around you.

-Web 2:
Don't hold back on your opinions today -- they are sure to be met with some resistance, but that just makes them stronger in the long run! If you can argue past the initial obstacles, it should all go well.

We can see they're completely differents. It show us pseudoscince hasn't scientific bases.

What's necessary to do to solve a problem by scientific method?

To solve a problem by scientific method we must do scientific method fromthe beninning, it's mean that you have to observe about the topic of the problem again, after you have to elaborate a new hypothesis contrasting the information you found observing.
Then, you have to experiment about the problem.
You have to analyse the results and finally, you have conclusions.
If the conclusion doesn't solve you the problem, you should repeat this steps many times.
And that's all.
